San Diego State University Research Foundation to Work on Improving Quality of ECE
The kickoff meeting was held on September 21, 2022, in the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the San Diego State University Research Foundation – SDSURF. Within the scope of the I2Q Project SDSURF with the Center for International Education will work on a project – Consulting Services for Improving Early Childhood Education Institution Management Service and Enhancing the Quality of Program Across the Country. The project duration is 43 months.
Experts from San Diego State University Research Foundation held a presentation on the project’s milestones, objectives, and implementation. Nancy Frey, the team leader, talked about the project’s four priorities and the key issues – Development of a quality assurance framework; ECE Data Reporting; Salary Scale, and Teacher Training and School Readiness Program (SRP).
Mr. Valerian Gobronidze, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, gave a welcome speech to the kickoff meeting attendees. Representatives of MES and its units, international experts, and the I2Q Project team attended the kickoff meeting.
