Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project

Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project supports the Government of Georgia’s initiative to facilitate innovation, equity and enhance the quality of education throughout the system.

The Project implementing partners are the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia (MESY) and the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF).

Facilitate Innovation, Equity and Enhance the Quality of Education

Improving Quality of and Access to Early Childhood Education (ECE)

Provide support to facilitate expanded access to quality pre-school education in selected pre-schools.

Fostering Quality Teaching and Learning in General Education

Provide a learning environment that is conducive to quality education in selected general education schools

Strengthening Financing Options and Promoting Internationalization in HE

Improve the quality and international competitiveness of higher education.

System Strengthening and Stakeholder Communication

Facilitate a shift in attitude toward learning in Georgia to one that is more pro-active, student-centered, innovative, and evidence based

The Legal Basis of Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project

The legal basis for implementation of I2Q Project is the Loan Agreement No 8955-GE between Georgia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), dated, June 18, 2019.

Management of Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project

The Project implementing partners are the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia (MESY) and the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF), supported by the World Bank. For effective management, the project implementing partners established Project Management Unit (MPU) of MESY and Project Management Team (PMT) of MDF.
