Authorization Pilot Visits Conducted in Selected School

The Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project conducts activities supporting General Education reform. Consultant company IBF International leads the actions.

Authorization pilot visits are conducted in selected schools to evaluate their compliance with new authorization standards. With the World Bank’s support, the groups of quality assurance and field experts trained under the I2Q Project, with the representatives of NCEQE, made a two-day visit to schools. The experts met school representatives, interviewed responsible persons, and got acquainted with documentation. The format was hybrid and involved a mixture of in-person and remote participants.

High-level international experts participated in piloting the authorization process – Ron Titus, quality assurance expert, and Ligita Grigule, School management, and development expert.

At the end of the visits, international and local experts presented the main findings to school representatives.

Based on the authorization pilot visit reports authorization council will discuss them at the pilot meeting. Council’s decisions will have no legal consequences. The pilot process aims to reveal the school’s capacity and strengthen schools.

An event is scheduled in late June 2023 to share the main findings of the authorization pilot process. All the stakeholders will participate in the event, and results shall be available to all schools.
