UCLC Conducted a Two-Day Workshop Promoting the HE Internalization

The I2Q Project HE component envisages the interventions for strengthening the internalization of HE education. The assignments under the HE component are in compatibility with the National Strategy of Education and Science. They are focused on the partnership goals with international research centers and universities, strengthening the skills and competencies, learning and research potentials, promoting the linkages with the labor market, raising the level of English language learning, and increasing the competitiveness of the students and young researchers.

Consultant Company UCLC, selected by the international tender (in sub-consultancy with Savvy Business sLtd), works actively promoting HE internalization. The company finished the preparational works with the involvement of all the stakeholders. On September 6 and 7, UCL Consultant conducted the first wide-scale workshop on consulting services for promoting the internalization of higher education for stakeholders.

The international experts and local HEI representatives held presentations and discussed the main tasks of the scope of work. UCL Consultants perform three tasks: 1. Development of the joint doctoral program in education and science management by October 2025; 2. Development of six disciplinary English language and one entrepreneurship module for the Bachelor level of education by October 2024, and 3. Establishment of International Excellence Schools. The first school is coming to start in January 2024. The International Excellence Schools will encompass three stages during the I2Q Project lifetime and enhance academic cooperation on the national and international levels.

This will contribute to international academic and scientific cooperation, the generation/sharing of new knowledge, and the possibility of rapid development in selected fields following the country’s strategic priorities.
