Training on Formative Assessment Conducted for School Teachers
Within the scope of the I2Q project general education component, the consulting company IBF International carries out activities for the school formative assessment system improvement. The work is conducted within the framework of the whole school development task.
On November 24-25, 2023, to strengthen the teacher’s capacities from the pilot schools of the project, Norman Emerson – the IBF International expert, conducted training for the teachers on continuous formative assessment. Expert Norman Emerson works in the direction of revising and updating the system, practice, and methodology of formative assessments of students.
The training aims at sharing initial findings from the ongoing piloting process. As well as sharing international experiences, using learning objectives and success criteria strategies in the process of formative assessment.
30 teachers from 15 pilot schools participated in the meeting. The meeting was held in an interactive format and included discussions, feedback, and presentations where schools presented real cases.
