A Guide Developed for the School Authorization Process Stakeholders
With the World Bank’s Support and under the I2Q Project, the guide for the stakeholders of the authorization process of public general education institutions has been developed.
The guide describes five basic steps in the school authorization process: school self-assessment and authorization application completion, review of the application, visit to the school, production of the draft report and final report, and the final decision of the board. The guide provides recommendations and offers activities that will support the process to be conducted effectively.
The guide was developed by IBF International’s quality management expert, Ron Titus, in collaboration with international and National Center of Education Quality Enhancement. Ron Titus supervised the activities supporting the authorization process at the pilot schools last year.
The guide is a companion document to the Guide to Standards for the Authorization of General Education Institutions. The resource (in Georgian) is available at the link.
