The 126th Public School of Tbilisi hosted the Conference – Using Effective Formative Assessment Strategies in the Teaching Process
The conference “Using Effective Formative Assessment Strategies in the Teaching Process” was hosted by the 126th Public School of Tbilisi. This school is actively involved in the I2Q Project’s general education component as one of the pilot schools. The conference took place in early June 2024 under the leadership of the international consulting company IBF International. It aimed to provide feedback on effective strategies for formative assessment of students and to share the experience gained in the teaching process of pilot schools. More than 20 teachers from four public schools in Tbilisi attended the event.
Tbilisi 126 Public School is actively engaged in whole-school improvement activities within the framework of the I2Q project supported by the World Bank and led by the consulting company IBF International. The school’s STEAM extracurricular program successfully cultivates students’ interest in science subjects. Furthermore, in 2023, the school participated in piloting the school authorization process.
