Presentation of Pilot Student Projects was held within the framework of the ReINNOVA Project

Research and Innovation Support Program to Stimulate and Improve Cooperation with Enterprise in Engineering Education – ReINNOVA” project is one of the winners of the first grant competition of the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF). The project, implemented by the Technical University of Georgia, aims to strengthen the connection between the university and businesses, increase employer involvement in the learning process, and train professionals, who are competitive in the labor market. ReINNOVA focuses on enhancing the training module of project piloting and production practice in six educational programs of the transport systems, mechanical engineering, and construction faculties of the GTU. This is achieved through the development of practical components in the training programs, seminars, joint research activities, and other innovative mechanisms.

Within the framework of ReINNOVA, in the period of March-June, 2024 six student teams worked on innovative solutions to the tasks set by business companies and as a result, prepared six different projects in accordance with the pilot educational programs.

The final conference for the ReINNOVA project was held at the Technical University of Georgia in early July 2024, featuring presentations of the pilot student projects. These projects were developed through collaboration between students, professors, and business organizations in the faculties of construction, transport systems, and mechanical engineering at the university.

The event was attended by representatives of the I2Q Project (WB) Competitive Innovation Fund.
