Tbilisi State Conservatoire Successfully Implements the CIF1 Winning Project
LEPL—Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire received the first grant from the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) of the I2Q Project. The grant is being used for the “Beyond Borders: Fostering Innovations by Building on Traditions of Higher Music Education” (UniMusic) Project (UniMusic).
The project aims to strengthen internationalization by developing English-language educational programs and digitally transforming performance and higher music education. The project has two main objectives: to strive for international accreditation for 6 nationally accredited English-language programs and to integrate Eduroam into the global network and introduce LOLA (low latency audiovisual streaming technology) into the Conservatoire’s performance and educational activities.
The Sibelius Academy (Helsinki University of the Arts) and the Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association (GRENA) are the Conservatoire’s partners in the UniMusic project.
On September 18, 2024, representatives from the I2Q Project visited Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire to monitor the project’s progress.
The project implementers presented the results and planned steps for the current period to the I2Q project team.
