The Next Stage of the Regional Round of the STEAM National Competition held in Tbilisi

From November 24 to 26, 2025, the next stage of the regional round of the STEAM national competition “Future Georgia 2025” took place at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Tbilisi. Students from pilot schools participating in Tbilisi’s and nearby regions – Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti, and Mtskheta-Mtianeti – showcased their STEAM projects during the competition.

The innovative works of the students were carefully reviewed by international expert Professor Jeffrey Nowak. “This competition revealed the great talent and potential of Georgian students; participants should use this experience as motivation to constantly work on personal development and effectively solve the problems around them,” Professor Jeffrey Nowak addressed the students.

After the presentations, Professor Nowak, along with the General Education Component Lead of the I2Q project, awarded certificates to the participating schools.

The top projects identified during this round will be presented at the final STEAM conference of the “Future Georgia 2025” national competition, scheduled to take place in Tbilisi at the end of November.

The activity is implemented with the support of the World Bank, within the framework of the “Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project – Georgia I2Q (WB)”. Within the framework of the General Education Component of the I2Q Project, the international consortium IBF Expertise S.A. is carrying out consulting work.
