Workshop on Developing CFA Practices and Networking in Schools

Within the framework of the I2Q Project, an intensive two-day workshop focused on Continuous Formative Assessment (CFA) for students was held on May 9-10, 2025. Organized by the consulting company IBF Expertise S.A., the main objective of the workshop was to enhance CFA practices and strengthen networking among the pilot schools involved in the I2Q Project.

During the workshop, participants addressed a variety of important topics over the two days, including specific case studies of CFA practices. Based on the feedback received, they developed strategies for improving these practices and implementing them effectively in schools. The participants also discussed how to foster networking through active engagement. Additionally, the discussions included preparations for summative assessments pertaining to the piloting process, while considering the practices of Continuous Formative Assessment.

On the second day, particular attention was given to the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in providing feedback on student work and supporting moderation activities. Participants explored the role of AI and how it can enhance the quality of summative assessments by aligning with CFA criteria. By the end of the workshop, a detailed action plan for CFA implementation was developed, outlining objectives for the next six months (May 2025 – December 2025).
