ECE Diagnostic Study Inception and Primary Reports Presented
Within the scope of the I2Q Project, an ECE sector diagnostic study is in progress. The study covers two main directions: Identifying ECE sector’s basic issues and drawbacks and comprehensive evaluation, as well as an overview of the difficulties in demand and supply for school readiness in Georgia.
With the purpose to present inception and primary reports to the MoES, a working meeting was held with the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Georgia and other LEPLs. The sides discussed the technical issues and study design, methodology and engagement of the stakeholders were discussed at the meeting.
Joint venture companies – PPMI Group (Lithuania), ISSA (Netherlands) and Ilia State University Centre for Preschool and Inclusive Education are working on the study. The companies were selected through the international tender.
