General Education Trends to be Assessed
International consultant company Mathematica is conducting the diagnostic study to evaluate trends in the General Education of Georgia. Mathematica was selected through the international tender, according to the World Bank regulations within the scope of the I2Q Project.
The assignment of the consultant company is to conduct the diagnostic study and comprehensive assessment of the General Education system. The assignment for Mathematica aims to analyze the current situation and determine the impact of reforms. Also, to identify system development dynamics and GE trends. Also, to prepare recommendations to improve abovementioned.
The consultant company submitted the progress report with the initial findings and conclusions of the study.
With the purpose to present the progress report, Lia Gigauri, the I2Q Project GE lead, held a working meeting with the Management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia on February 7.
Based on the feedback received, experts of Mathematica will collect recommendations for further improvement of the report. The company will also take further steps to achieve the objectives provided in the contract.
