Workshop held with Stakeholders

Within the scope of the Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project supported by the World Bank, the diagnostic study of the general education system in Georgia is being conducted. The international consultant company Mathematica Inc/USA in collaboration with PMCG manages the study. On April 30, Mathematica Inc held a workshop for stakeholders. The company presented the main findings from the GE system diagnostic study to the I2Q Project team and the MES representatives.

Dr. Audrey Moore, the evaluation team leader, overviewed the context and objective of the study and presented the methodology. Mathematica Inc. also presented the initial recommendations considering the strategic objectives of the new (draft) Education and Science Strategy (2022-2032). At the end of the workshop, stakeholders held a discussion.
