The Training Series for GE Quality Assurance Experts Started
Within the framework of the I2Q project, activities supporting GE reform are carried out. The consulting consortium, with the leadership of the international company IBF International, continues intensive work on improving the quality of general education in Georgia. Along with the school strengthening and improving the assessment system, the consulting company is also working on quality assurance mechanisms development and strengthening.
For the successful implementation of the updated mechanisms of quality assurance to support the professional development and capacity building of experts in quality assurance of general education, the training series started on December 5, 2022.
The series aims to train experts following updated authorization standards and procedures. The training module includes essential issues to put into practice expert activities, such as self-assessment analysis, types of evidence and their acquisition, interviewing, professional ethics of experts, writing a conclusion supported by evidence, and offering recommendations for development.
The training series is interactive, as international and local experts share their experiences with the participants, talk about best international practices and offer case studies.
The training series is conducted in cooperation with IBF International experts, the I2Q project, and the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement. Up to 150 GE quality assurance experts will be trained. The second series of training is scheduled for January-February 2023.
