SDSURF Professor Nancy Frey Participated in the International Conference of NCEQE

At the annual international conference of National Center for Education Quality Enhancement on March 1, 2023, the work accomplished in the early and preschool education sector, under the I2Q project, was digested.

International donor organizations and municipalities representatives, heads of kindergarten unions, caregiver pedagogues, and other stakeholders attended the conference.
Nancy Frey and her team of international experts continue work in the early and preschool education sector within the framework of the I2Q project in four main areas: Development of a quality assurance framework; ECE Data Reporting; Salary Scale, and Teacher Training and School Readiness Program (SRP).

Professor Nancy Frey spoke thoroughly about the wide-scale research conducted to determine the salary policy for caregiver pedagogues. She noted that recommendations based on the findings will appear by the end of March 2023.

Dr. Nancy Frey also provided the stakeholders with information about the accomplished and ongoing work for improving the caregiver-pedagogues’ professional development and ECE reporting system establishment.
