Strengthening the General Education Authorization Council Capacity Building

Under the I2Q Project, consultant company IBF International is conducting General Education reform supporting activities.

On June 16-17, IBF International held orientation meetings for GE authorization council members. The orientation meetings aimed at capacity building the council and envisaged conducting a simulation authorization council meeting.

Representatives of NCEQE, general education quality assurance experts, and council members attended the meetings. They got acquainted renewed process of school authorization and authorization decisions. The participants talked about technical issues regarding organizing the authorization council meetings. They conducted a simulation authorization meeting to discuss the cases of three schools selected for the pilot (Tbilisi 126 Public School, Tsikhisdziri Public School of Mtkheta Municipality, and Napareuli Public School of Telavi Municipality).

The orientation meetings aim to strengthen the capacity building of the general education authorization council members in the scope of renewed authorization mechanism.
