San Diego State University Expert Continues Visits in Georgia

San Diego State University ECE Expert Professor Douglas Fisher visited the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia on September 26, 2023. Professor Fisher met with the Early and Preschool Education Development Department head and expert.

The goal of the meeting was progress updates and planned activities. SDSURF international expert Professor Douglas Fisher spoke about the efforts to support the authorization process of early and preschool education institutions across the country, implemented with the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement.

Professor Fisher mentioned the importance of qualifying the ECE sector quality assurance experts. SDSURF actively works on the issue. Internationals have already familiarized themselves with the existing training modules and are working on revising and improving them. The training cycle for ECE quality assurance experts is scheduled to start in February 2024.
