The training aims at ECE quality assurance experts’ capacity building and their professional development. And to prepare them to implement the authorization process following the new standards and procedures. With the support of the I2Q project, training is conducted by 10 trainers trained by experts from the San Diego State University Research Foundation in four areas: curriculum, quality assurance, nutrition, sanitation and hygiene. The training cycle includes the theoretical and practical part of authorization: trainers with experts will discuss authorization self-assessment questionnaires, features of report preparation and assessment forms, and experts will perform practical tasks. After the completion of the training, in May 2024, it is planned to simulate the authorization visits in selected early and preschool education institutions, and later in September 2024 the simulation authorization council will be held.
