Ongoing and Scheduled Works in GE Reviewed

Within the framework of the I2Q project, IBF International experts visited the National Center For Educational Quality Enhancement on April 4, 2024. They held a working meeting with Kakhaber Eradze – the deputy director of the Center. At the meeting, the parties reviewed the ongoing activities and planned works within the framework of the contract. Noteworthy, the package that aimed to support the school authorization process, provided by the cooperation between the parties, was successfully accomplished. The activities carried out within the framework of the I2Q project served to NCEQE’s capacity building.

The parties also reviewed the ongoing works. Ron Titus – the IBF International expert in collaboration with the National Center for Education Quality Development, is working on an analysis of successful practices of authorized schools. The expert will develop the first document with the collection of the best Georgian practices identified in the school authorization process will be created. Work on the document will be completed in June 2024 and will be shared with the stakeholders.

The expert of IBF International is working on another important document for the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement. It will be the concept of the evaluation system for the authorization experts. The evaluation instruments will be designed based on this concept. The practical evaluation system of the expert corps will be developed considering the best international experiences and local practices by the end of 2024.
