The Second Cycle of PD Training for the Administrative and Educational Staff of Kindergartens in Gori Municipality has been Completed
With the support of the World Bank, San Diego State University (SDSU) actively continues to work on improving early and preschool education in Georgia. As part of the I2Q project, SDSU recently completed the second cycle of professional development training for administrative and educational staff in kindergartens in Gori municipality. Nancy Frey and Jim Marshall, professors from SDSU, presented certificates to the trained staff.
The goal of the training is to enhance the professional development of the representatives from the education department of the Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Service of the primary structural unit of the Gori Municipality City Hall, representatives of the preschool education agency of Gori Municipality, and managers of 15 kindergartens across the municipality. In total, 50 administrative and 60 educational personnel received training in Gori municipality.
The training modules were developed by San Diego State University international and local experts and covered theoretical and practical aspects. There are plans to implement the acquired knowledge into practice soon, with trainers mentoring the educational staff throughout the educational process.
