Introduction of OSTE-stations in Georgian HEIs Project Interim Results Presented
The Introduction of OSTE-stations project in Georgian HEIs, which was one of the winners of the first grant competition of the Competitive Innovation Fund of the I2Q project (WB), aims to introduce innovative teaching and learning methods in higher education institutions. The project is being implemented by a consortium consisting of LEPL – Tbilisi State Medical University and LLC – Georgian-American University.
A meeting was organized by the consortium at Tbilisi State Medical University on July 25, 2024, to present the current results of the project. During the meeting, university representatives reviewed the interventions and discussed the next steps regarding the implementation of OSTE stations in Georgia. Representatives of the I2Q project (WB) also attended the meeting.
After the project’s implementation, Objectively Structured Teaching Practice (OSTE) will be introduced in medical schools in Georgian universities. This introduction aims to contribute to the improvement of teaching and interpersonal communication skills of academic staff, as well as their professional development.
