The Academic Program Costing Methodology has been developed

On July 29, 2024, a workshop was held where the methodology for calculating the cost of the academic program and the corresponding results were presented to a wide range of beneficiaries. The workshop was organized by the I2Q project (WB) and attended by representatives from Higher Education Institutions, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth (MESY), the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement (NCEQE), and the Education Management Information System (EMIS).

SEATIG INC./USA – a consulting company selected through an international tender, is working on the development of the academic program costing methodology. During the working meeting, participants reviewed the prepared materials of the university’s internal cost analysis, which aims to determine the costs of higher education programs while considering the program specifics, fields of study, and levels of higher education.

Additionally, participants were introduced to the first release of the new information management database system for higher education, which is designed for the administration of the merit-based scholarship model.
