The Kindergarten Authorization Simulation Process is Underway

The I2Q project (WB) is supporting the authorization of kindergartens in early and preschool education. The activities are being led by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, with the participation of international and local experts from San Diego State University (SDSU). Experts in curriculum, quality assurance, nutrition, sanitation, and hygiene have undergone training based on modules prepared by SDSU experts. A simulation process for authorizing early and preschool education institutions has been planned.

The first pilot visit, assessing the institution’s compliance with the authorization standards, was conducted in the 1st Kindergarten of Gori in June 2024. Trained experts participated in the simulation authorization process. Professors Nancy Frey and James Marshall observed the process and considered it successful.

The concluding event of the Early Childhood and Preschool Education Authorization Simulation Process is being held on October 1-2, 2024. San Diego State University Professors – Nancy Frey and James Marshall participate in the two-day event that is being held with the involvement of the I2Q Project and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

Legislative changes, the kindergarten authorization schedule, and assessments of the process by the experts were presented at the event. The second day of the event will focus on a simulated authorization board.

The simulation authorization process is an important stage based on experience learning and aims to prepare for real authorization.
