Sectoral Employment Week was held within the framework of the CIF project

The first sectoral employment week took place at Ilia State University from March 10 to 16, 2025.

The event was organized under the project “Education for Better Employment: Partnerships in Innovative Healthcare,” which is funded by the I2Q Project Competitive Innovation Fund grant competition. The project is being implemented by a consortium that includes Iliauni and BAU-Batumi International University.

The project aims to promote integrating higher education with the labor market in healthcare by developing modern, innovative educational programs and establishing sustainable, intersectoral partnerships. For this purpose, a consortium of state and private higher education institutions is being established, which will study the needs and trends of the healthcare market and will take care of the rapid modernization and availability of educational programs and research. The Hospital Association and the Curatio International Foundation, employers with different profiles, partner with the consortium in the aspects of public health and health policy, as well as institutional management. The project develops a complex approach to collaboration between educational institutions, employers, and students in healthcare.

During Employment Week, various activities took place, including masterclasses, interactive educational sessions, and collaborative meetings. The event also featured the awarding of winners in the scientific blog competition, a conference, and a healthcare sector career forum where companies met with job seekers to offer job vacancies and internship opportunities.
