Another Series of Training took place at Iliauni as part of the CIF Project aimed at the Social Integration of Individuals with Disabilities

A series of training sessions took place at Ilia State University from May 19 to 21, focusing on “Shaping Mindsets in the Workplace and Equality Environment: Key Issues for Intervention and Research.” This event was part of the “Learning Labs for Equal Rights” (LLER) project, funded by the I2Q Project Competitive Innovation Fund grant competition.

Maria Kapanadze, an international expert from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (EUIT-UAB), led the training. Through these sessions, the project implementation team improved their skills in evidence-collection methods and human-based outcome assessment tools.

The project included various international study visits and training sessions conducted by experts, contributing to the retraining of the university’s academic staff and other participants.

The “Learning Labs for Equal Rights” project is being successfully implemented, with multidisciplinary and multi-professional practical learning labs (hubs) established to support employment within the higher education system. These hubs serve as practice spaces for psychology and social work students, where they analyze different job roles for people with disabilities and identify specific job skills. This initiative aims to enhance the social integration of people with disabilities and promote their active participation in a supportive society.
