Students of the STEAM program of Samtskhe-Javakheti Region Schools Presented Projects

The students of the pilot schools involved in the STEAM extracurricular program successfully presented their innovative projects on November 21, 2025.

International STEAM expert Professor Jeffrey Nowak carefully reviewed the students’ projects. He provided evaluations and inspired the participants with a motivational speech, stating, “Participating in this competition will offer you valuable experience. It will help you identify areas for improvement and what deserves your focus. Never overlook the challenges you encounter while working on your projects. And most importantly, always strive to enhance your achievements“.

At the event, the international expert, alongside the I2Q Project General Education Component Lead, awarded certificates to all participants of the qualifying round of the national competition “Future Georgia”. The event concluded with a commemorative photo session with the participants.

The best project from the Samtskhe-Javakheti region will be presented in Tbilisi at the end of November at the final STEAM Conference.

This initiative is being implemented with the support of the World Bank as part of the Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project – Georgia I2Q. The consulting work under the general education component of the I2Q Project is conducted by the international consortium IBF Expertise S.A. During the 2024-2025 academic year, the schools receive support and guidance from Professor Jeffrey Nowak, an international expert from IBF Expertise S.A.
