Announced on November 30, 2024;
Priorities for the call were the following:
o Elaboration/development of academic programs in cooperation with a foreign higher education institution recognized in accordance with the legislation of a foreign country for the purpose of awarding joint/double academic degrees and/or promoting international accreditation.
o Development of educational programs tailored to the labour market needs (including specific needs of the Georgian regions) (Smart Specialisation, Third Mission etc.).
o Development of practice oriented educational programs.
o Supporting cooperation with industry/private sector (creation/development of joint educational programs tailored to employers’ needs (joint teaching/practice, research/other initiatives on different levels of education, including structured doctoral programs).
o Initiating projects/programs developing/enhancing entrepreneurship education.
30 grant applications were submitted by HEIs in frames of the 1st call for proposals.
Grant proposals were evaluated by an international consulting company;
As a result, 13 grant applications - 3 individual and 10 consortium projects, received grant funding;
In overall, 10 public and 7 private HEIs got funded in frames of the 1st call.
Introduction of OSTE-Stations in Georgian HEIs
Beneficiaries: Consortium consisting of LEPL Tbilisi State Medical University and Georgian American University, LLC (GAU).
