The Second Bi-Annual Report by IBF International

With the World Bank’s support and in the frames of Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project – Georgia, IBF International conducts complex activities in the General Education Sector. On October 19, 2023, consultant consortia held the second bi-annual project review seminar for the stakeholders.

The works conducted by the consortia include teaching and learning quality promotion and implementation of the management system, the whole school improvement plans and programs, assessment policy, and development of the national assessment. IBF International’s highly qualified experts successfully led the school authorization pilot process. They provided the capacity building for all the stakeholders. Within the scope of the cooperation, experts of IBF International work on improving the school principals’ professional development mechanisms. IBF International supports STEAM extracurricular programs to implement in schools that will increase girls’ engagement. All the necessary resources for the STEAM extracurricular programs implementation for 80 schools have been purchased in the scope of the I2Q Project. And will be delivered to them soon. Partnership with the international consortia supports the development of the general education system and the whole school improvement.

The Innovation, Inclusion, and Quality Project, funded by the World Bank, is an important facilitating mechanism for ongoing reforms in the education system in Georgia, which has an essential role in the development of Early, General, and Higher education.
