A meeting with the Coordination Group Regarding the Public Schools Authorization
I2Q Project general education component lead, Khatia Tsiramua participated in the working meeting of the coordination group created regarding the implementation of the updated authorization standards of the GE institutions and the management of the authorization process of public schools. Another meeting was held at the National Center for Education Quality Development.
The members of the coordination group discussed the current authorization process, the challenges identified during the visits, and ways to respond to them, as well as the selection criteria and preliminary lists of schools for authorization for the coming year.
With the support of the World Bank, within the scope of the I2Q Project general education component, the authorization process pilot and capacity-building activities of all key stakeholders were successfully implemented. A session of the simulation authorization council was also held under the leadership of a team composed of highly qualified international experts.
The coordination group created regarding the implementation of the updated standards for the authorization of general educational institutions and the management of the authorization process of public schools has been functioning since last year. The coordination group consists of representatives of the MES, NCEQE, ESIDA, ORO, TPDC, EMIS, and donor organizations.
