IBF International Experts Visited Schools in Different Regions of Georgia

The IBF International experts team leader, John Henley, visited schools in different regions of Georgia together with his colleagues. The experts held meetings with teachers and administration representatives in public schools of Adjara, Imereti, Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions. The purpose of the visits was to learn the local school practice better. John Henley mentioned the whole school improvement piloting will soon begin in selected schools. Understanding the opinions of staff and school readiness is essential for experts. They will take into consideration the information received from the schools during the piloting process. John Henley emphasized the high enthusiasm of the schools and noted that even more schools are interested in being involved in the project than was envisaged (200 schools). Among them, private schools also expressed their desire to cooperate.
